Reading
Passage: Many students find that daily reading improves vocabulary, spelling, and understanding. Reading short articles, simple stories, and study notes can also help learners become more confident in English. Good readers do not only look at difficult words. They also try to understand the main idea of the text and the writer’s purpose.
Writing
Write your own answer. Sample answer can be viewed in learning mode or after checking.
Task 1
Write about your daily study routine.
Sample Answer:
I usually start my study routine in the morning. First, I check my timetable and decide which subject needs more attention. After that, I read my notes for about thirty minutes. Then I solve practice questions and mark the difficult parts. In the evening, I revise what I studied earlier in the day. This routine helps me stay organized and reduce stress. I think regular study is better than studying only before exams because it builds confidence and improves memory.
Task 2
Do you agree or disagree: Online learning is better than classroom learning?
Sample Answer:
I partly agree that online learning is better than classroom learning. One main reason is flexibility. Students can learn from home and save travel time. They can also watch recorded lessons again if they do not understand something the first time. However, classroom learning also has important benefits. Students can ask questions directly, join group discussions, and stay more focused. In my opinion, the best system is a mix of both methods. Online learning is useful for convenience, but classroom learning is better for communication and discipline.
Speaking
Practice speaking by reading the question and answering aloud. Sample cues are available for learning.
Part 1
What do you do in your free time?
Sample Cue: In my free time, I usually watch educational videos, read articles, or spend time with my family. Sometimes I also use my free time to improve my English and practice speaking.
Part 2
Describe a teacher who helped you.
Sample Cue: I would like to talk about a teacher who helped me improve my confidence. This teacher was kind, supportive, and always explained topics clearly. Because of that teacher, I became more motivated in my studies.
Part 3
Why are good teachers important in society?
Sample Cue: Good teachers are important because they guide students, build confidence, and prepare young people for the future. They do not only teach subjects, but also teach discipline, communication, and values.
